Martin & the Midnight Men have shared their love of blues and roots music with audiences since 2015. They took home first prize at the Scandinavian Blues Contest 2022, and their music is a vibrant blend of traditional blues and soul — sometimes with hints of funk and country.
The band delivers a powerful musical experience, mixing original material with their own take on classic and modern favourites from the American roots tradition.

Based in Uppsala, the band has performed across Sweden — from Mönsterås in the south to Härnösand in the north.

The band's debut album is in production. The singles Mean Old Frisco, Walkin' and Cryin' and New Complaint (with Magnolia by JJ Cale as B-side) are out now.
Erika Lundqvist — who Martin also performs with in the duo Roberta's, winners of the Scandinavian Blues Contest 2015 — features on most of the singles.
